Sheridy's Baby Shower

My friend Sheridy is due any day with her second boy (and 5th child)!
Some friends at the party.

Jenny J., Erin W. and Kasey L.
Lovely little Eliza (Erin's daughter) playing with the nativity.

Munching on the food.
It was a crepes buffet.  It was so good.  Kasey got caught in the photo.
Pat A.
Ruth G., holding Jenny J.'s baby Eli.
My favorite baby boy, Teig.
Apparently he's Ambree's favorite too.  She's giving him kisses.
Ambree is pouring out someone's drink as I was trying to take a pic of her playing.
I didn't notice until after I heard the splash.
While I was cleaning up that mess, she attacked the tree and broke a glass ornament.
She continued from there, getting into so much stuff,  I eventually just left early because I was losing it!!
I hate it when I have to bring kids to these kinds of things!  And it happens entirely way too often with a resident husband!

But it didn't stop there.  I needed to go out to Staples to earn my $2 in store credit for every ink cartridge that I bring in so that I could use that money (I had $20 worth) to buy a Christmas present for Trevor.  Staples is pretty far from my house (40 min), so it's a hassle to get out there and I don't do it very often.

Ambree was in need of a nap (I thought she would nap in the car, but didn't), and I had the older girls with me too.  It was snowy and cold.

I was trying to decide about the gift in the store while Ambree was being grumpy/whiny, trying to get out of the cart and the girls were fighting.  Just 10 minutes in the store and I was losing my patience with them.

Then Rae somehow cut her finger and let loose a howl like never before.  There was enough blood that required an immediate band-aid.  I picked Ambree out of the cart and just left everything in it there in the aisle, taking everyone back to the car.  I put the band-aid on and made sure that all of my crying children were buckled up and went home.  No Christmas present, after all of that.  Sheesh.
