Christmas at The Henry Ford

Trevor had a Saturday off!  To celebrate this rare occasion, we went to The Henry Ford museum to spend some family time.
Here's Rae, as a hot dog.
Brynlee as a hot dog.
The Oscar Mayer mobile
Raelyn writing a letter to Santa
 Hmm...what should we ask for?
"Dear Santa, I want Strawberry Shortcake things.
Love, Raelyn"

Santa's mail box (made out of Lego's!)
Fun little North Pole play house
Me and Ambree while waiting in line to see Santa
The NICEST Santa ever, and Ambree freaked out!
She's not the only one though, the other girls wouldn't even come close!
They hid around the corner.
So much for waiting 45 minutes in line.  Never again.
Still screaming, I thanked Santa and started walking away.  But he said,"Don't go, I haven't gotten to talk to the little one yet."  He was so nice and tried to persevere even though Ambree wouldn't have any of it.

The crying paused while she looked at his jingle bells.
Then we enjoyed watching the train sets on display.
And marveling at the Lego city and train set!
Amazing!
Ambree like the little train rocker
Brynlee tried to squeeze in.

  1. What an awesome thing to bring the girls too, and that IS the REAL Santa! Was it free or was their an admission price?

  2. Family fun...I love the train rocker, so cute. Wow, what a lego display, for Roo would love to see it! What a special time for the kids to spend with daddy....
