Painting, a Christmas Tradition

Each year, we buy the girls an ornament to paint.  We also buy a figurine for the us big kids to do.  Trevor loves being able to do it, although this year was spent finishing the one he started last year.  Poor guy, doesn't have as much time to finish his as he used to.  But that will change 2 Christmases from now, when he's out of residency (I hope anyway).

We have fun reminiscing each time we unpack the Christmas decor box and see all of our previously painted figurines.  Then they are placed on our mantle for the season.
Brynlee is getting really good.  She got a tree this year.
Trevor is finishing up his nutcracker.
My angel is halfway painted.
And here's Rae's blob ornament, if you can see the blue/white/purple thing on the plate drying.
We're hoping to buy a nativity set sometime to paint each piece.
For now, our $5 Walmart nativity will do.
