Putting up the tree Thanksgiving weekend.
Our pathetic pre-lit tree has even more lights out this year than last.
In fact, they're all out. So we used a separate strand of lights to string over the existing burnt bulbs.

Rae was determined to get her ornament just right, risking falling into the tree!

Notice how only half of the tree is lit? We only had 1 strand of lights, and they only covered the top half.
But that's okay, the bottom is enclosed between the 2 couches in the corner so that Ambree can't get to the tree. And all the ornaments have to be out of her reach too. Good thing she can't climb the couches yet. I give her until next week before she starts doing that though. That girl is a monkey!
Love all your new posts. I now i was so worried about asher getting the tree but i risked it and set it up in the kitchen without protection and he hasn't touched it once. All of the boys have been really good actually. And I had to laugh when you said that about Ambree climbing the couches, cause Asher just started that last week, my crazy kids!
