In response to me telling Brynlee that I'm going to parent-teacher conference today she said,"Mom, I've NEVER been on yellow this year. Except for October and a few other times." (yellow is their warning color, red is a call home.)
Me: "What did you do to be on yellow?"
Brynlee: "Uh, just talking. You know me, Mom. I'm a talker talker." (with a shake of her head and smile)
