Ambree's Birthday

(Ambree turned one in October, but I'm still playing post catch-up)


Ambree is enjoying a book as usual.

I made these cupcakes with the most AMAZING frosting and I hate frosting.

Vici bought Ambree a dog book.

Ambree loves dogs and books, can't go wrong there!

But the festivities ended there on her actual birthday as she was terribly cranky (from teething?!) that she didn't even make it to her own birthday party.  She was in bed at 5:30PM.  So we enjoyed her cupcakes without her.

The next day I made another batch of cupcakes, which turned out even better than the first.  Using leftovers of the same frosting, I made cupcakes from spice cake.  Delicious!!!

Finally the birthday girl was able to attend her party.

Let me give this frosting a taste test...

Mmm...this wrapper tastes good, but kinda dry.

Oh, that's better.
