I helped the girls do the first pumpkin.
I outlined where to cut and showed them how to hold the safe "kid knife".
Brynlee didn't mind the goo, but Rae wouldn't touch the stuff. Look at that gag face!
Rae still won't get close.
After much coaxing, we finally got her to stick her hand in and she touched 1 seed (look closely, it's stuck on her thumb). Silly kid.
I ended up carving most of the face because of the small spaces and difficulty in maneuvering the knife.
For the second pumpkin, the girls, "wanted to do it all on their own this time".
So I drew the lines, making sure they were all straight and easy to cut this time.
They did awesome!! I'm so proud of them!
This is what Ambree was doing in the meantime...
getting into all sorts of "stuff" that she could reach on tippy toes.
i loved the gag face i laughed pretty good!! my boys like a lot of gross things but they didn't really like the goo too much either. Looks like you guys had a good Halloween. It's so funny the difference a house full of girls is to a house full of boys. And I second your thought on that yummy looking bunny she is so cute! I wish you guys were closer I miss seeing you! I need to have you kids come over and play!!
