Well, Brynlee incorrectly calls it, "ranking".
We have a lot of yard and mature trees, which means a lot of raking!
Here are the girls, after we've raked and bagged most of the piles.
"Here Ambree, a shower of leaves!"
Ambree discovered the fun of sitting in the leaves on her own.
She was wandering around while we worked and I caught her enjoying herself in this pile.
After 3 hours (over the span of 2 days) and 17 bags later, we were done!
At least, until the rest of the leaves fall off the trees! But I kinda like "ranking".
Cute leaf pictures--our kids used to love getting into the big bicket to scrunch the leaves. What a great way to show that work is fun!
ReplyDeleteI bet the kids love the outdoors now that weather has cooled. That's a lot of leaves, but it is better to do it now before the rain makes it almost impossible to do....the "ranking,"....lol...too cute!
